Located in the fashionable Arts District of downtown Los Angeles, the Toy Factory Lofts. This 1450 sf renovation transformed the space into a fresh urban retreat for our client’s weekend or Dodger Season ticket holder getaway.
Square Feet: 1450  |  LA Downtown Industrial Loft

Location: Los Angeles – Arts District | Year: 2014 – 2015 | Project Type: #Residential #Remodel #Loft Renovation

The 1,450-square-foot, shoebox-shaped space with shared walls and windows only at one end is filled with unexpected juxtapositions. Far from industrial chill, the environment exudes an enveloping warmth, despite a good amount of concrete, cement and metal incorporated into the design. It has a sophisticated approach in which classical, vintage and Old World elements seamlessly blend with the raw surroundings, building depth and complexity into what otherwise could be a one-note environment. Texture, and original patina wherever possible are key components.

“You walk in and it’s just, wow. Nothing compared.” Denise Meraz, Homeowner

“I was very pleased with Pobal Construction. All the workers were competent, clean and respectful. They were on time and worked hard to get the job finished in a timely manner while still providing excellent service. We would gladly recommend them to others and will hopefully be using them again for future projects.” Andrea Michaelson Design, Architect
